Umm Sulaim's Thoughts

Thoughts Lead To Appreciation

Energy supplied to my home in the seventh week of data collection, Friday 2015 November 20 to Thursday 26, was impressive, a total of 124:38 hours of power.

The week’s daily average was 17:48 hours of electricity.

Remarkable days were Monday and Tuesday 2015 November 23 and 24, respectively, when energy distribution were approximately 24 hours and 23:44 hours.

On Monday 2015 November 23, electricity was interrupted some time at dawn.

For how long, I am uncertain; perhaps briefly.

Perhaps, the interruption was a momentary fluctuation in energy.

I say this, as my DVD player which was set on “repeat file” restarted at the beginning, indicating power interruption.

Can the progress made in the energy sector be sustained?

Nigerians expect so, especially if increase in electricity tariff is to be justified.
