Thoughts Lead To Appreciation

MUHAMMADU BUHARI WON NIGERIA’S ELECTION

With one collation centre to be presented out of 37, Nigeria’s next President is General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress ~APC.

He took the highest seat of office by storm with a three ~3 million vote lead, a landslide victory.

Nigeria’s new President will be sworn in on May 29, 2015.

Muhammadu takes over from the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan who contested for a second ~2nd term and lost.

Goodluck Jonathan has maintained his desire to serve the Nation is not a do or die affair.

Goodluck Jonathan has served well and bows out with dignity.

Goodluck has become the first sitting President of Nigeria to lose a second term bid.

After 16 years in power, the ruling party the People’s Democratic Party ~PDP has been swept out of Aso Rock, the presidential villa.

This presidential election is the most credible election ever.

The thrill has been an adrenaline explosive.

I have just stepped outside. The road was lined by men, watching others riding motorcycles waving a broom – the APC symbol.

The neighbourhood is agog with excitement over Muhammadu’s victory.

Whoever does not wish to be caught in the celebration is advised to stay out of sight.
