Thoughts Lead To Appreciation
Someone once mentioned that diplomacy was the ability of one to conceal one’s feelings, granting one’s detractors a free ride. He, also, derided me for being destitute of that prime quality of survival. However, did someone among the pioneer companions not describe that as hypocrisy?
But I do know a term which describes a person’s behaviour during a crises – WISDOM. It comprises Integrity, Responsibility, Discretion and Silence. The last is particularly useful when a response might be misconstrued by one’s allies.
My brother, you are not a diplomat nor a hypocrite.
May Allah make you a wise man. Aamiin!!
And, of course, my Taslim to my brothers and sisters including former detainees.
