Thoughts Lead To Appreciation
From Umm Sulaim, Allah’s slave-woman to Babar. Peace be on whoever follows Guidance.
A brother, once, remarked that the Ummah is a closed community. I, immediately, refuted that saying that the feelings of a muslim for another is genuine; he does not lie to / deceive him and he protects his interests.
I, further, stated that those who believe the contrary are untrustworthy, hence they trust no one. Moreover, they still have the Jahiliyy concepts in their psyche.
He, usually, opens a topic, and I play the role of reformer. We have had several discussions on a string of topics ranging from governance to man-wife relationship, and from the role of the Ulamā’ to the proper use of the intellect.
My brother, your role within this Ummah is not a privilege, but a duty. Do not turn renegade!
May Allah save you from that. Aamiin!!
