Thoughts Lead To Appreciation
From Umm Sulaim, Allah’s slave-woman to my brother. Peace be on whoever follows Guidance.
If an unmarried lady lives in a block of apartments with two neighbours, one kafir and the other a muslim, innovator whose activities borders on shirk – if not shirk – who ought to conduct the affairs of the premises?
And, if she resides in an apartment surrounded by the kuffar, should she honour their decisions?
I have indeed been in both situations: I stanchly refused to have such a man as my representative. And, concerning the latter, we are officially at war.
With the two generals defeated, there was a mutiny. My neighbours complain that I do not cooperate with them. But, how can one do such with one’s adversaries whose sole intention is to domineer over one?
My brother, in whatever circumstance you find yourself, you possess predominance.
May Allah rectify your affairs. Aamiin!!
The recipient was accorded a code name by the British government.
As there were a number of such detainees to whom I addressed my letters, I am unable to identify this particular prisoner.
