Thoughts Lead To Appreciation


On Friday November 28, 2014, as tragic as the bombings of the Kano Mosque are, the greater tragedy is that despite repeated attacks on Muslim centres of worship there is little sign of enhanced and effective security measures around the Masajid ~Masjids.

Why has security not been improved in Masjids in the North of Nigeria, and indeed across the nation, to ensure no one enters bearing weapons?

Are Muslims waiting for Allah to rectify security in Masjids while they and their political leaders condemn the federal

Security solutions include ensuring Muslims pray inside the Masjid and not line streets when the Masjid is not yet filled.

Plus Muslims should park their vehicle far away from the vicinity of the Masjid and not obstruct roads and pathways.

Strolling is a better idea. It is also Sunnah and a rewarding act.

It is also tenable for Northern leaders and their Southern admirers to quit inflammatory speeches against the federal government.

One cannot expect peace while making statements against the government which encourage own people to join insurgents.

Yes, none of these suggestions involve a single government functionary.

Security is the responsibility of every citizen.

Security is an attitude, as is insecurity.

Allah help Nigerians realise that.

Allah console all affected and admit to His Jannah the deceased.

Allah bless the Republic.
