Health Advice To Guinea, Sierra Leone, And Liberia:
1~ Halt all movements of Ebola patients.
That should extend to any individual with high body temperature, weakness, vomiting and any other symptoms of Ebola virus disease.
They should remain where they are.
2~ Health workers are to attend to Ebola patients on site.
3~ That reduces unnecessary contacts with persons who assist them to hospitals.
4~ There is very little doctors and nurses can do for Ebola patients in current circumstances.
The health system is already overwhelmed and movements of patients add strain.
5~ Deceased Ebola patients ought to be buried where they die, again to eliminate contacts with funeral facilitators, some of whom work with only aprons.
It is an absolute disaster.
6~ Where possible, those who cared for deceased persons should conduct the burial.
7~ Such persons are very likely already infected.
There are no fresh infections or exposures.
Allah help you. Aameen.
