Thoughts Lead To Appreciation
Yesterday evening, at the police station [details later], I met another non-Hausa-Fulani indigene of Kaduna State.
She is Bajju from Kafanchan. She mentioned the tribal name of Kafanchan, which has slipped my mind.
I am certain few Nigerians have heard of an ethnicity called Bajju.
So far I know a Jabba and a Bajju from Kaduna.
If only, we will take time to ask persons for their ethnic identity rather than continue the injustice that the North is Hausa-Fulani.
Ethnic minorities indigenous to the North should also reduce their reliance on being identified or mistaken for Hausa-Fulani.
