Thoughts Lead To Appreciation

Umm Sulaim’s Thoughts AT ONE: Zainab

The second instalment Commemorating The Social Individual unfolds.

The discussion is still on Muslim women who hold their rights and choices dear to self. This time, the case is of parent-child conflict over the daughter’s decision to wear a Hijab and a Niqab.

The individual’s name has been altered. The gross violations Zainab experienced occur in many communities. Her experience is specific to Nigeria and at the hands of secular parents.
