Umm Sulaim's Thoughts

Thoughts Lead To Appreciation

Eid Mubarak!

Today is Eid El-Fitr, a grand day to celebrate the end of a successful Ramadhan, a month of Fasting.

Celebrations are conducted in an atmosphere of positive emotions.  The celebrant intends to have fun.  Thoughts of the day itself suffice to brighten the countenance with ample smiles.  The celebrant is jubilant and extends that aura to family and friends.

Love is the ideal emotion for celebrations.  In this season of Eid El-Fitr (End of Ramadhan Celebrations), let us celebrate love; love of Allah, love of goodness, love of good people, love of our endeavours, love of our success.

Although love requires the loved, i.e. a spouse, the absence of the latter does not make love inefficient.  Love is not rendered redundant by singlehood, for one can love love itself and derive pleasure from such.  To dignify love, the lover cheers up and pampers self.

If you are in love, dress up and wear some lovely perfume.  Look sweet, feel sweet and be sweet.  Love is an indulgence.  Indulge dear lover.

My dear girls, please do something with your hair and your face.  Apply hair conditioner, comb or brush your hair.  Pack your hair up in a bun or style your hair to appear unique.  And apply some make up, even if light powder and lip gloss.  And do shape your eyebrows.

To all singles wondering the possibility of celebrating love alone, I have done it every year and I relish those one-girl parties.  Shed the loneliness.  Embrace love.

Let us love love triumphantly.

May Allah accept Devotion from me and from you.CELEBRATING LOVE
